Upon graduation in Journalism at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Mario first worked as a journalist in Večernji list and as a radio host on Radio Zelina. In 2000, he secured employment at the McCann Erickson agency, and then founded Media Val in 2003 with his partners. His long-standing experience in public relations with diverse industries proved to be a comparative and key advantage in strategic consulting, reputation management and crisis management for both large multinationalandsmall home companies, with a special emphasis on the airline industry and collaboration with companies managing large infrastructure projects. Mario has extensive experience in media relations, corporate public relations, brand building and consumer PR, and several projects under his management won the Grand PRix, annual award by the Croatian Public Relations Association. When not at the agency, you will most likely find him cycling as he is an avid fan of the sport, proved not only on regular recreational rides and insmaller competitions, but also while supporting the largest names of cycling at the Tour de France and other grand races. He dedicates his leisure to his family, especially to his daughter Lora, his biggest inspiration and motivation, and he uses every opportunity to enrich, elevate and improve the life in Sveti Ivan Zelina, the town he grew up in and the starting point of his daily commute to Zagreb office.
